The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced, suave, well-built and offers fat, an acidulous/juicy frame as well as silkiness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, strawberry and small notes of violet/rose associated with touches of blackberry, discreet hints of chocolate, nutmeg, toasted as well as an imperceptible hint of mild tobacco (in the background) and rose (on the finish). Tannins are well-built. Good length. A very fine power on the finish.
