Domaine Vigot Fabrice 2017 – Vosne-Romanée

The nose is elegant, aromatic, flowery and offers power. It reveals notes of blackberry, blue fruits and small notes of fleshy plum, violet associated with small touches of black fruits, chocolate, toasted, saffron as well as discreet hints of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, juiciness, a small creaminess, minerality/freshness, a beautiful volume, a very fine power (in the background), a beautiful finesse of the grain, a small straightness, a beautiful roundness as well as a very beautiful gourmandize. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy wild raspberry and small notes of fleshy plum associated with small tocuhes of chocolate, cherry as well as hints of toasted, caramelization and discreet hints of hazel nut (in the background). Tannins are elegant, structuring and supple.
