Frederique Vacquer is a small, almost confidential vineyard in the very interesting, upcoming Aspres region. They work different single varietal cuvée like this 100% Grenache Noir. A combination of old vines and terroir. Dominated by ripe and concentrated black fruits, there’s also a touch of wild herbs and licorice. The palate is spicier and finely textured with decent length.
