Domaine Trouillet – Aux Chailloux 2018 – Pouilly-Fuissé

The nose is fruity, well-built and offers a fine grain, a very fine concentration, a fine complexity and elegance.  It reveals notes of ripe lemon, juicy peach, small notes of lemon flowers, grapefruit associated with a fine touch of flint/racy minerality and discreet hints of crushed apple. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, tension, a fine grain, juiciness, a good definition as well as a good guideline. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon, fleshy/ripe peach, small notes of apple associated with a subtle hint of grapefruit as well as very discreet hints of hazelnut (bring sapidity and gourmandize).
