The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers a fine grain as well as a small power. It reveals notes of fleshy/ripe wild cherry, blackberry, small notes of small berries associated with touches of racy minerality, spices, pencil leaf, a discreet hint of pepper and tobacco. The palate is fruity, juicy, tight and offers dynamism, gourmandize as well as a fine acidulous frame, a small straightness and harmony. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/ripe wild cassis, cherry, small notes of violet associated with touches of small berries, pencil lead, a racy minerality, rose petal as well as a subtle hint of camphor, pepper and mild tobacco. Tannins are precise and very discreetly firm.
