The nose is racy and offers a fine concentration. It reveals plum, blackberry and violet notes associated with small touches of cherry as well as discreet hints of toasted oak, mocha, undergrowth and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, juicy, well-balanced, elegant and offers a nice structure, gourmandise, an bit aeral, a beautiful definition as well as a beautiful silky matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy plum, juicy black cherry and slight touches of cassis, blueberry associated with touches of liquorice stick, racy minerality, toasted oak, tonka bean as well as a discreet touch of spices (in the background). Tannins are fine and very slightly firm. The finish is slightly tight. Good length.
