The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. At first nose, it expresses savoury smoky, slightly meaty and spicy notes, which are subsequently completed by a floral bouquet and juicy fruitiness. We find in particular notes of liquorice, nutmeg, white pepper, clove, associated with notes of dried rose, dried peony and fresh lilac, with a touch of mint, as well as fresh fruit (raspberry, red currant, strawberry, blueberry) and a delicate hint of toasted hazelnut in the background. The palate is ample, enveloping, while remaining fresh and tangy. It expresses notes of red cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, red currants and crushed blueberry, associated with a delicate and integrated spicy touch (liquorice, cumin), herbaceous and floral freshness (menthol in the background, peony, lilac), as well as a very fine touch of toasted hazelnut in the background. The tannins are fine, slightly tight. The finish is persistent, tangy (with notes of bigarreau cherry and raspberry) and lively, with a very slight bitterness and a salivating acidity.
