Domaine Siret-Courtaud 2015 – Chateaumeillant

Domaine Siret-Courtaud 2015 – Chateaumeillant

The nose is fruity, aromatic and offers a fine concentration. It reveals notes of redcurrant and wild raspberry associated with small notes of violet/bay, blackberry as well as touches of tobacco, licorice, a very discreet/imperceptible hint of Cuben pepper and a woody touch. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers gourmandise, a slight acid frame, a small unctuosity, a beautiful juiciness/suavity, tension as well as a nice definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of redcurrant candy, crushed raspberry and small notes of fleshy cassis associated with slight touches of licorice, violet and caramelization. Tannins are well-built and supples. Good length.
