The wine has a deep ruby color. It expresses notes of black plum, prunes, black cherry, dark chocolate, blackberry and dried cranberries with a fine touch of peppermint in the background. On the palate, the attack is round, on ripe and jammy fresh fruit: there are flavors of cherry and raspberry jam, chocolate morello cherry, prunes, black plum, crushed strawberry, chocolate mint, cassis, creme de cassis, licorice and cherry in chocolate. The tannins are powerful, but velvety and integrated into the profile of the wine, thanks to a rich mouthfeel and a good concentration of fruity flavours. The acidity is lively and refreshing and the finish is long, on the pure fruit. A generous and concentrated wine, but open and pleasant.
