The nose is fine, fruity and aromatic. It reveals slight notes of Questche plum and black cherry associated with slight touches of wild berries as well as a subtle hint of flowers, ivy, nutmed and a hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a slight creaminess, a slight straightness as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of black cherry, crème de cassis and small touches of plum associated with touches of redcurrant, flowers, chocolate/mocha as well as slight touches of raspberry jam, a subtle hint of gray pepper, a discreet hint of caramelization (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of Lapsang Souchon tea. Good length.
