The nose is elegant, and racy and offers power in its delicacy, a certain concentration, accuracy, a certain intensity as well as slight notes of fresh spices. The mouth is well-built, racy, bright, a bit aerial, and offers nice freshness, a tangy frame, power in delicacy, accuracy, silky, nice fatness as well some spherical side. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy raspberry, roasted cherry, and more slightly – hints of cornflower associated with touches of pulpy plum, roasted berries, star anise as well as hints of chocolate, toast, caramelized almond. and a subtle hint of mocha (on the finish). The tannins are elegant, precise, supple and fine.
