Domaine Roger Belland – Les Cras 2017 – Pommard

The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and offers a fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild berries and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet, rose, cherry as well as fine hints of zan, dried tobacco and nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy / acidulous frame, a good definition as well as gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy / juicy blackberry, fleshy / juicy raspberry and small notes of cherry associated with touches of fleshy / juicy redcurrant as well as hints of juicy plum, violet, cornflowers and Tonka bean. An imperceptible hint of caramelization on the finish / persistence. Tannins are elegant.
