Domaine Reverdy Ducroux – Beau Regard 2015 – Sancerre

Domaine Reverdy Ducroux – Beau Regard 2015 – Sancerre

The nose is slightly tight and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of wild red fruits, dried redcurrant and small notes of flowers associated with a hint of crushed blackberry, zan, tobacco as well as an imperceptible hint of Sichuan pepper and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a beautiful mineral frame, juiciness, a nice structure, a small fat as well as a very slight/discreet fleshiness in the background. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, redcurrant candy and small notes of blueberry associated with a touch of bay/flowers as well as a subtle hint of zan/licorice and a very discreet hint of tea. Tannins are very slightly firm. Good length.
