Domaine Rebourgeon-Mure – Les Vignes Franches 2017 – Beaune 1er Cru

The nose is aromatic elegant and complex. It reveals notes of Boysen berry, wild cassis and small notes of wild raspberry associated with touches of plum as well as hints of zan, nutmeg and discreet hints of toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a small juiciness, finesse, a fine tension as well as fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cherry, fleshy/juicy red berries and small notes of plum associated with fine touches of liquorice stick, cornflower/flowers as well as discreet hints of toasted/mild tobacco (in the background). Tannins are well-built. There is a very discreet hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
