The palate is fruity, flowery, well-balanced, precise and offers a good definition, suavity, finesse, a fine tension, fluidity, a small gourmandize, a fine freshness, a fine straightness as well as a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of acidulous violet candy and plum associated with small notes of acidulous blackberry candy, raspberry as well as discreet hints of liquorice. There are hints of cocoa, grilled oak, chocolate on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine and elegant. A very discreet chew on the finish/persistence.
