The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity with light garnet reflections. On the nose, it offers a savory and delicate spiciness, enveloped by a tangy but ripe fruit notes. We find notes of ground cumin, clove, nutmeg on the first nose, and fruity aromas afterwards: wild strawberry, red cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry and raspberry, as well as a fine limestone minerality and floral touches (violet, iris) and dried mint. The palate is fresh, concentrated and straight. On the attack, it expresses notes of wild strawberry, morello cherry, red cherry, raspberry coulis and blackcurrant, combined with a fine spicy (licorice, nutmeg, ground cumin) and floral (violet, iris, dried rose) notes. The mid-palate is warm and sapid, and expresses a velvety tannin structure and lively acidity. The finish is persistent, with good bitterness and cocoa notes in the background. A balanced and gourmand wine.
