A shiny ruby colour with a light brick hue on the rim. The nose is deep and complex, with subtle notes of leather, concentrated fruit and elegant woodiness. This concentration is immediately echoed on the palate, with juicy, massive fruit. Red plums, cherries and raspberries display their density and crunchiness. A subtle, refreshing hint of liquorice emanates. Beautiful sweet spices accompany them, developing the wine towards great complexity. The tannins express their personality on the finish. In addition to a chiselled contrast, they offer a lovely interplay of textures. This wine shows particularly good length, which is intense and fresh, and also very juicy fruit, which is delicious and will perform well over the years. Wait for two years says the finish that lingers with freshness and great balance.
