Domaine Mia – Les Vasées 2019 – Mercurey 1er Cru

The nose is fruity and offers a small power / concentration. It reveals notes of boysenberry, strawberry and small notes of bright cherry associated with small touches of violet, acidulous red fruits candy as well as a subtle hint of vanilla, racy minerality and an imperceptible hint of of spices. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, freshness, minerality, a certain straightness, a little tension, a fine grain, a good definition and a certain concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and small notes of crushed red berries associated with a touch of cherry blossom, fresh lily, bright cherry, fine hints of racy minerality, a discreet hint of nutmeg as well as a subtle hint of toasted almond and  sense of place. Tannins are well-built and racy. Presence of a very discreet toasted hint on the finish/persistence.
