Domaine Mas Conscience – L’Eveil 2021 – Terrasses du Larzac

The nose is mineral, racy and offers a fine freshness and a small concentration. There are notes of blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of fleshy/ pulpy small fruits as well as hints of smoke, blond tabaco, vanilla and an imperceptible hint of olive (in the background). The mouth is fruity and offers brillance of the fruit, brightness, gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, precision, tension as well as energy. All in harmony, freshness and precision. Rightly concentrated. Density and gourmandize. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy/ pulpy cherry, bright/ slightly acidulous red berries ans small notes of bright/ acidulous purlpe plum associated with touches of sage, « sens of place » (local biotop) and a discreet hint of liquorice stick. Hints of chocolate and toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint of coffee (in the background).
