The wine has a clear and limpid cherry color with purple hint. The first nose is aromatic on fruits and smoke. Mineral, we can smell crunchy berries like blackberry as well as notes of garrigue. There are some notes of reduction with aeration. The wine is young, it deserves to flourish in the glass. We perceive flowers like violet and rose as well as fresh plum. The attack is slightly sparkling. The reductive side is a little present. It lets the fresh black fruits such as blackberries and black cherries express themselves. We find the floral notes of the nose with pepper. The tannins are present and continue during the tasting until the finish. There are notes of leather and undergrowth. The short finish has a hint of salt and spice.
