Domaine Lippe Boileau – Moutier 2020 – Bourgogne Côte d’Or

The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a nice definition/purity of the fruit as well as a pulpy and bright fruit. It reveals notes of bright blueberry, blackberry and small notes of crushed cherry associated with touches of small red fruits, violet as well as slight hints of liquorice, bourbon vanilla and an imperceptible hint of tea. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers juiciness, suavity, a small mellow side, a nice definition/purity of the fruit, a beautiful acidulous frame and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright/tangy raspberry, cherry and small notes of creamy blueberry associated with a touch of cassis, flowers as well as a hint of liquorice, toasted hazelnut, a subtle saline/sapid hint and chocolate. Tannins are well-balanced and elegant.
