The nose is spicy, a little tight and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, clove and cassis associated with touches of violet, lilac, Bigarreau cherry / crushed raspberry, with fine hints of local scrublandas well as an imperceptible hint of sage. / rosemary and fresh nutmeg. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, acidity, a certain sparkle of the fruit, roundness, juiciness as well as a certain purity of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cherry, bright redcurrants and more slightly strawberry associated with touches of violet, liquorice, sweet blond tobacco, a subtle hint of black olive, caramelization as well as almond hints and very discreet clove hints (in the background).
