The nose is aromatic, gourmand and offers a small richness as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and small notes of chocolate, caramelization associated with fine touches of vanilla as well as very discreet hint of nut. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built, racy, well-defined and offers a small fat as well as small suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed cassis, crushed black cherry and crushed Gariguette strawberry associated with small/subtle touches of liquorice, chocolate/tonka bean, sweet spices as well as a very discreet hint of mild tobacco (in the background). Good length. Good gourmandize and persistence.
