The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality, juiciness, a tangy frame, good definition, a certain gourmand as well as a fine grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy raspberry and more slightly of violet associated with touches of small red currants, lilac, pistil, with fine hints of tobacco, muscade, discreet hints of arbutus as well as a subtle hint of chocolate and toast on the finish / persistence. Tannins are finely chewy.
