Domaine Le Clos Riviera – La Dolia 2022 – IGP Pays d’Hérault

The wine is limpid and shiny with a light straw color. The nose is intense, woody, round, gourmand and fruity. There are notes of stone fruits such as apricot, juicy yellow peach and nectarine as well as exotic yellow fruits such as ripe pineapple and juicy mango. We have some citrus notes like pink grapefruit and we perceive the impact of the barrel with fine buttery, vanilla and toasted touches. The palate is intense, direct, fruity with a fresh acid frame. There are notes of roasted apricot, juicy yellow peach as well as juicy pear, mint, pine forest. We perceive touches of toast, browned butter, Bourbon vanilla, pastry cream and cake batter. There is a nice balance, gourmandise and length with a salivating, iodized and intense finish on the wood.
