The nose is aromatic and offers a fine complexity, a good definition. It reveals notes of cherry, rose, spices, small notes of crunchy strawberry associated with blackberry, fresh violet as well as discreet hints of grey pepper and toasted. The palate is fruity, racy, slightly tight and offers a small tension, an acidulous frame, freshness as well as juiciness, a certain aromatic purity and a good precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry, juicy/Acidulous cherry and small notes of small juicy/pulpy red berries associated with touches of violet, rose, toasted/chocolate as well as subtle hints of toasted hazelnut, sugared mild tobacco and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). A finely powdered finish. Tannins are well-built.
