The wine shows a light cherry colour. The nose is open, with red cherries, a hint of kirsch and a very fine touch of pepper. The palate is exhilaratingly light. Very approachable and resolutely red-fruited, it exudes energy and can be enjoyed straight away. The very supple tannins also support this approach. Note the spiciness at the end of the palate, which gives the wine length and complexity. A lively wine!
