The nose is fruity and offers a beautiful power, a beautiful fruit, intensity and a fine deepness. It reveals notes of griotte cherry, pulpy Boysen berry, small notes of crushed wild cassis associated with small touches of violet, lily, cuben pepper as well as hints of laurel berries, fine hints of sense of the place, toasted, sweet spices, cardamom and a very discreet hint of mocha. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, juiciness, a good definition, gourmandize as well as a fine tension, pulpiness/fleshiness, a beautiful silky touch and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, blackberry, small notes of violet associated with touches of creamy bigarreau cherry, small crushed blue fruits as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, laurel berries, vanilla and a subtle hint of pink laurel/nutmeg/spices. Good length. Tannins are well-built, very discreetly firm/marked.
