Domaine Jocelyn Raoux 2018 – Lirac

The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain power as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, sage, small notes of rosemary flowers associated with touches of blackberry, small wild fruits as well as hints of grey pepper and a very discreet hint of olive leaf. The palate is fresh, minerality, fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers fluidity, a small fat as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of griotte, juicy/fresh wild cassis, small notes of violet associated with touches of rosemary flowers, sage, dry local grove as well as hints of toasted, tonka bean, tobacco, a subtle hint of grey pepper and a discreet hint of eucalyptus in the finish/persistence. There is a very discreet hint of caramelization in the persistence.
