Domaine Jessiaume 2017 – Auxey-Duresses

The nose is aromatic, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain as well as intensity. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, ripe/fleshy cherry and touches of violet, wild strawberry associated with hints of lily, racy minerality, liquorice stick, white pepper as well as an imperceptible hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful suavity, an acidulous frame, a beautiful ripe/crunchy/juicy fruit, minerality, precision, a very finely unctuous matter, gourmandize as well as a small tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, juicy/crunchy Quetsche plum and small notes of blackberry associated with touches of raspberry, fine hints of liquorice, flowers as well as discreet hints of nutmeg/cardamom, toasted and an imperceptible hint of tea.
