Domaine Jacques Tissot 2014 – Arbois

The nose is fresh, racy with fine grain. There are notes of zest, quince and more slightly apricot associated with small touches of crushed physalis as well as fine hints of brioche / pâtisseries. There are also hints of almond and a subtle hint of sweet white flower. The palate is fruity, with juice, a tangy frame. It is suave, round with a certain fat. There is a fine sensation of sweetness, a little tension as well as energy. There are notes of juicy / pulpy quince, yellow peach and more slightly crushed apple associated with touches of physalis. There is dried zest along with a hint of beeswax, hazelnut and a subtle hint of fresh walnut. There is a hint of herbal medicine in the background. Good length.
