The nose is elegant, beautiful built, very discreetly tight and offers generosity as well as complexity. It reveals notes of plum and small notes of ripe blueberry associated with touches of violet, Cuben pepper, fine hints of cardamom, tea as well as very discreet hint of very ripe red berries, gray pepper/nutmeg and liquorice/liquorice stick. The palate is mineral, fruity and offers juiciness, a beautiful definition/minerality, a beautiful acidulous frame (in the background), suavity, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a silky grain, freshness as well as a beautiful precision and an aromatic purity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of of ripe black cherry, ripe/juicy violet plum and small touches of cassis associated with hints of fleshy raspberry, racy minerality, liquorice stick, violet, Ceylan tea as well as very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring. Beautiful acidulous finish. There is a hint of grilled oak and liquorice/blueberry on the finish. Good length and persistence.
