Domaine Heresztyn Mazzini – « Clos Village » 2017 – Gevrey Chambertin

The nose is fruity, structured and offers generosity as well as elegance. It reveals notes of plum, black cherry and small notes of liquorice associated with touches of cornflower, blackberry, ripe red cherry as well as discreet hints of spices and an imperceptible hint of gray pepper. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, precise and offers tension, a good definition, fat, a good structure, a good freshness as well as a good guideline. on the palate this wine expresses notes of plum, ripe cassis and small notes of black cherry associated with ripe small berries, lily as well as a very discreet hint of spices, toasted, liquorice, a very discreet sappy hint and cardamom (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring. There is an imperceptible hint of dark chocolate on the persistence.
