Domaine Henri Magnien 2017 – Ruchottes-Chambertin

Domaine Henri Magnien 2017 – Ruchottes-Chambertin

The nose is powerful and offers a fine intensity. It reveals notes of plum, wild blue berries and small notes of wild strawberry associated with fine touches of gray pepper as well as hints of racy minerality and spices. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, a fine fleshiness, a bit tight and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, power, a good guideline, energy as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy black plum and small notes of wild red fruits associated with fine touches of mocha, toasted as well as hints of racy minerality/graphite, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of nutmeg (in the background). Good length. Gourmandize on the finish.
