Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – Clos des Perrières 2018 – Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru

The nose is elegant, racy and offers a quite aromatic/very fine grain and a very fine complexity. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of quince, Mirabelle, crushed small fruits associated with fine touches of exotic fruit, a subtle hint of apricot flowers, quenette, very discreet hints of brioche and an imperceptible hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/finely acidulous frame, tension, precision as well as a fine straightness, harmony and elegance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of lychee, quince, small notes of small fleshy yellow plum associated with small touches of pear as well as a subtle hint of mandarine flowers, apricot flowers and very fine hints of butter. Good length. Gourmandize on the persistence.
