Domaine Guy & Yvan Dufouleur – Clos des Perrières 2018 – Nuits-Saint-Georges, Premier Cru

The nose is fruity and offers power as well as deepness. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild small  fruits and wild strawberry associated with fine touches of wild blueberry, violet as well as a discreet hint of cherry candy, Cuben pepper, spices and an imperceptible hint of rose. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition, precision as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/juicy blackberry, ripe/juicy plum and small notes of fresh fruits associated with fine touches of crunchy/fresh wild strawberry as well as a subtle hint of fresh flowers and discreet hints of spices.
