The wine has a pale ruby color. On the nose, it offers freshness and concentration, a ripe fruit, as well as savoury touches of sweet spices, smoke and roasted meat in the background. The aromas are quite expressive, and at first nose, we first find the aromas of clove, cumin, white pepper, licorice, dried flowers (dried rose petals and cornflower) a herbaceous hint of dried mint, as well as an airiness and fine fruitiness (wild strawberry, dried strawberry, red cherry, raspberry, red currant), a herbaceous touch of dried mint, as well as a toasted and smoky note in the background. On the palate, the wine is chiseled and tangy. It first expresses notes of sweet spices (licorice, cloves, white pepper, cumin), dried rose and cornflower, roasted red cherry, a hint of toast and smoke, which then complement each other with notes of fresh strawberry, raspberry, red currants, cranberries and cut mint. The finish is persistent and expresses notes of roasted red fruits, a smoky touch as well as good bitterness and salivating acidity. The tannins are firm, a bit grippy. Good structure, energy and liveliness.
