The wine has a bright ruby color. The nose offers concentration, fruitiness and spiciness, as well as a nice freshness. It expresses notes of licorice, cinnamon (in the background), nutmeg, white pepper, cocoa, blackcurrant, crushed blueberry, morello cherry, red cherry and strawberry, as well as touches of mint, rosemary, violet, rosehip, as well as a slight note of garnet in the background. The palate offers a juicy, tangy and fresh attack, but a drying side of firm, slightly rough tannins. We find flavors of morello cherry, strawberry, crushed raspberry, blackcurrant, associated with notes of cocoa, white pepper, licorice, as well as touches of herbs and dried flowers (rosemary, rose, violet). The finish is fruity, tangy and persistent, with a nice salivating acidity, which softens the tannins and juicy notes of morello cherry and blackcurrant.
