Domaine Guilon, Authentique 2020 – Bourgueil

The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is precise, fruity and ripe. It expresses notes of strawberry, red cherry, crushed raspberry, fresh blueberry, combined with notes of violet, cut grass, dried rose and tea, with a fine minerality in the background, and a delicate peppery note . On the palate, the wine is chiseled, straight, even firm. It expresses notes of tangy red fruits (bigarreau cherry, raspberry, red currant, cranberries), combined with slight spicy touches of white pepper and licorice, as well as cut grass and wild flowers. The finish is tangy, juicy, with a touch of bitterness and grippy tannins, as well as a powdery touch on the finish.
