Domaine Grand – Vin Jaune 2015 – Côtes du Jura

Nice, elegant nose, precise and with a nice grain. There are notes of quince, bright mirabelle plum and more slightly of fleshy berries combined with hints of flowers as well as a fine buttery touch and fresh/green nuts. The palate is fruity, fresh and offers a tangy structure, finesse in its roundness, a certain purity in its definition and a nice juiciness and acidity of the fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, tart mirabelle plum and, to a lesser extent, fairly ripe lemon, combined with hints of crunchy white fruit, lemon blossom, as well as fine iodine, nutmeg, toasted notes and a very discreet, almost varietal touch (in the background). Good length. Nice sapidity and acidity on the finish. Good persistence. Congratulations!
