Self-proclaimed as the house of Viognier, but also renowned for their Syrah, Domaine Georges Vernay has always been an important actor in the development and promotion of Northern Rhône and the survival of the Condrieu appellation. The estate, now directed by the well-awarded Christine Vernay, daughter of Georges Vernay, has become an iconic estate in the region for their respect & values. Opulent and full-bodied, this wine always has a remarkable balance, with an aromatic range that gives a true tone by avoiding all heaviness or warmth, but instead, a coated palate of nuttiness, vanilla beans and custard, nectarine and apricot.
