Domaine Gaujal – Cuvée Ludovic Gaujal 2022 – AOP Picpoul de Pinet

The wine has a bright, limpid color with a slight straw tint. The nose is fresh and aromatic with fruits such as juicy white peach, nectarine as well as racy minerality and a fine touch of pleasant atsina cress. With air, the nose becomes more exotic with fine touches of mango, ripe pineapple and passion fruit. We also perceive place notes with a delicate ferrous side. The palate is fresh and fruity with a mentholated and tangy frame. There is balance, straightness and minerality. There are notes of tangy white and green berries such as white currants and crunchy green grapes. We have hints of citrus and still this touch of liquorice. The finish is pleasant with a hint of bitterness. It is a pretty fresh and delicate wine in its power.
