Domaine Fougeroy de Beauclair – Saint-Jacques 2015 – Marsannay

The nose reveals woody notes, toasted bread and slight hints of quince, beeswax associated with a very discreet hint of fresh physalis, compoted vine peach, spices as well as a very discreet hint of almond. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, racy, well-balanced and offers a beautiful acid frame, a beautiful juiciness, a good expression/definition as well as a beautiful minerality/freshness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh ripe lemon, ripe/fresh green apple  and vine peach associated with a subtle hint of beeswax as well as a very discreet toasted hint and almond on the persistence. Good length.
