The nose is elegant, aromatic, racy and offers a very beautiful elegance, a beautiful definition, a fine richness, a very beautiful grain as well as a beautiful finesse. It reveals notes of black cherry, blackberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of crushed raspberry, cornflower and discreet hints of gray pepper. The palate is elegant, beautifully defined, a mineral frame (beautiful minerality), a beautiful grain/finesse of the grain, a small aerial side, a beautiful dimension as well as a beautiful silky touch. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy Quetsche plum and more slightly small wild berries associated with touches of blackberry, raspberry as well as fine hints of liquorice/liquorice stick, toasted, tonka bean and a discreet saline hint on the finish/in the background. Tannins are fine and elegant. There is an imperceptible hint of hazel nut (in the background) on the finish.
