The nose is aromatic, elegant, beautifully built/defined and offers intensity as well as a fine complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, plum and small notes of ripe raspberry associated with touches of cherry, violet, cornflower as well as hints of nutmeg, Cuben pepper and a very discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, juicy, beautifully well-balanced, well-built and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful suavity, gourmandize, a fine tension/a fine aerial side, a very finely tight structure as well as a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of black cherry, fleshy plum and small notes of raspberry associated with touches of blackberry, hints of crunchy strawberry, flowers as well as discreet hints of liquorice stick and toasted. Tannins are fine, elegant and structuring. A beautiful wine on the fruit.
