Domaine Fabrice Vigot – Vieilles Vignes 2015 – Nuits-St-Georges

The nose is fruity and offers elegance. It reveals notes of fleshy / juicy redcurrant, wild raspberry and small notes of crunchy cherry associated with subtle hints of blackberry, a very discreet hint of flowers as well an imperceptible hint of tonka bean and Cuben pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande, elegant, precise and offers a beautiful suavity, unctuousity, freshness, an acid frame, dynamism, a beautiful roundness as well as delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed redcurrants, fleshy cherry and small notes of crunchy wild strawberry associated with touches of crushed cassis, plum, liquorice as well as an imperceptible hint of flowers (in the background) and an imperceptible toasted hint (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
