The nose is aromatic and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry and crushed plum associated with slight hints of spices, Sichuan pepper, flowers, mocha/cacao, oak as well as a very discreet hint of red fruits. The palate is fruity, mineral and offers a slight acid frame as well as a beautiful silky/slightly fleshy matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, juicy plum and slight notes of red fruits (red berries, cherry) associated with a hint of zan, tobacco and a discreet toasted oak. Tannins are well-built and very slightly dusty. Good length. There is a very slight hint of dark chocolate (in the background), and powerful on the finish/aftertaste.
