Domaine du Merle – Clos des Condemines 2016 – Bourgogne 

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of plum, violet and small notes of small berries associated with slight touches of black cherry as well as a very discreet hint of licorice (in the background). The palate is fruity, slightly tight, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a slight juiciness, a very slight straightness, minerality as well as a slight acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of plum, violet and small notes of small berries associated with touches of wild red berries, cherry as well as very discreet hints of licorice / toasted and flowers and an imperceptible hint of chocolate (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
