The nose is fresh, relatively fruity/spicy and quite powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis jam and slight hints of red berries, flowers associated with touches of spices, a hint of gray pepper as well as a discreet hint of Bigarreau cherry, a woody hint and a discreet hint of graphite. The palate is fruity, suave, well-balanced, round and offers a beautiful matter, fat, a beautiful acid frame (in the background), a beautiful harmony, gourmandize as well as a slight juiciness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, black cherry jam and a hint of blueberry associated with discreet hints of juicy red fruits as well as touches of toasted oak, caramelization and a very discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are a bit young and slightly firm. Good length and good persistence.
