The nose is racy, very discreetly tight, all in length and offers a racy minerality, power and a good finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of cassis, cassis leaf and small notes of bright blackberry associated with touches of griotte cherry, small blue berries as well as hints of racy minerality/terroir, spices, a subtle saline hint and a very discreet hint of white pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful bright fruit (juicy/fresh/ripe/very finely acidulous), a beautiful delicate touch as well as a fine grain, tension, a fine acidulous frame, deepness and a beautiful racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, blackberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of crushed cherry, bright strawberry as well as small hints of nutmeg, spices, hazelnut, a subtle hint of liquorice stick and an imperceptible hint of white pepper (in the background). Tannins are fine, elegant and supple. An imperceptible hint of cola on the persistence. A wine full of finesse!
